Apparently Joshua had slipped in class and banged his head against the corner of one of the tables. The doctor at the school had cleaned it up and told the teacher that he would need stitches.
Marlene went to pick up the boys from school so we could take Joshua to Emergency. It turned out that he did indeed need to be sewn up with 4 or 5 stitches (I lost count while I was calming Joshua). Fortunately all of them are above the hairline so the scar won't be seen.
Joshua is doing fine with a slight headache. We'll see if he goes to school tomorrow.
